THE ASCENT STAGE
The ascent stage was almost identical for every version of the LM with only subtle differences like LM-1 (Apollo 5) and 3 (Apollo 9) which were the only one having a scimitar antenna on the forward and aft sections or the J mission LMs (Apollo 15 to 17). The main differences between each mission were the coated panels which had different colors depending on the mission. This model can be built with or without the interior being displayed. A LM with a displayed interior will require more parts. The interior will be visible by removing either the forward or the aft section of the model.
More or less the Apollo 12 to 14 LMs were very similar but all other LM offered differences depending on the mission. This section will allow you to built any LM you want between Apollo 5 and Apollo 14. If you follow the various steps you will be able to order all individual parts as requested by the LM you choose. However in order to make things easier and also cheaper I combined many parts into one product which will allow you to save money mainly on handling fees. The combined parts are offered in Strong White and Flexible (in this case ordering the combined product or each part individualy is about the same in terms of price) and in Frosted Ultra Detail plastic (combining the parts for FUD makes a great difference since the handling fees is $5 per product, so basiccaly if you combine 9 different products into one you save $40).
The following table depicts the combined products you will need to buy depending on the mission you choose and its particular configuration. In the instruction sections further down you will be able to buy individual parts if needed.Ascent Stage with no

Since the interior differs from one LM to the other, the following table summarizes, in the construction order of the model, the parts needed for this ascent stage mid-section model depending on which LM you want to build. Green corresponds to a part you need for a specific mission and red a part you don't need for that mission.

The following images show the final assembly of the model. The aft and forward sections are assembled onto the mid-section of the descent stage. If you chose to have a LM with no interior these three parts are glued together. If you want the possibility to show the interior make sure not to glue these three parts. They will easily be disassembled to show the LM cabin and cockpit.
