During the 57th international astronautical congress, the European Astronaut Club (ACE) introduced its Manned Suborbital Vehicle project - VSH - intended for space tourism.

Launched from a large carrier aircraft, the VSH would use a Russian RD-0110 type engine to an altitude of about 100 km. She would offer to her passengers about 3 minutes of weightlessness. The project is derived from previous studies like Hermes, X-38 or the Dassault VEHERA project.

A European initiative on private fundings rival of Spaceship Two.

Member of ACE, Serge Gracieux did build this model to help for the promotion of the project.

A new model was made later-on by J. McIntosh from Déco-Diffusion in Toulouse. A making of the model is visible here.
