The solar cells are printed on paper and glued onto the frames. The pattern for the solar cells can be found here. You have to print the patterns on both sides of the same sheet of paper so the external side will show the solar cells and the interior side the mesh on which the cells are assembled. the solar cells and the mesh were created using actual photos of the Soyuz solar panels.
