This page provides you with models I did when I was much younger (in the 70's).I was then member of a model club called Cosmos Club Arrageois. Arrageois stands for the inhabitants of Arras, a medium sized city in the north of France where I lived at the time. We succeeded in building several 1/10 scale models, in particular the Soyuz, LRV, Lunokhod 2 and the Surveyor. Work started on a 1/10 model of the spacelab and a 1/10 model of the Lunar Module but this did not go too far as members started to go to college and had less time for such ambitious projects. In the end of the club existence we also started on a full scale mockup of the Soyuz control panels. In parrallel with the activity of the club I also did several 1/48 models out of cardboard, balsa and various materials. The 1/48 Skylab station which had a cutaway section showing most of the inside systems was even exhibited for a few month at the Palais de la Découverte in Paris, a famous science museum at the time (but which I must admit would need a bit a restoration having visited it at Christmas 2003 about 30 years after my last visit). Unfortunatly these models are no longer available, either because they didn't survive the assaults of time or because they were made within a space model club that no longer exists.
